India women vs Australia women T20 tri-series final live: Mandhana departs, India in trouble
Indian batswomen failed to fire as a unit in their first three league matches but they performed well on Saturday (February 9) to defeat Australia by seven wickets and reach the final of the tri-series.
India Women need 156 runs to win the women's T20 tri-series against Australia at Melbourne on Wednesday (February 12).
Batting first, Australia scored 155 runs for the loss of six wickets in their allotted quota of 20 overs.
For India, senior opener Smriti Mandhana continues to be the batting bulwark along with Harmanpreet.
The tournament is a preparatory event for the T20 World Cup beginning in Australia on February 21.
