‘Foreigners Don't Know Pappu': Union Minister Kiren Rijiju Says ‘Rahul Gandhi Extremely Dangerous For Unity’

NEW DELHI: In a scathing attack on Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju has said that the Wayanad MP is extremely dangerous for national unity as he continues to make provocative statements to divide the countrymen. Rijiju said this while referring to Rahul Gandhi’s recent statements in London criticising the Narendra Modi-led NDA government at the Centre.

Taking to Twitter, Rijiju said, “The "self-declared" Congress prince has crossed all the limits. People of India know Rahul Gandhi is ‘Pappu’ but foreigners don't know that he is actually ‘Pappu’. And it's not necessary to react to his Foolish Statements but the problem is that his Anti-India statements are misused by the Anti-India Forces to tarnish the image of India."

The Union Minister also shared a video of Rahul Gandhi’s speech at Cambridge University in which he could be seen criticising PM Modi for destroying the democratic institutions of India.

Rijiju had earlier on Tuesday slammed Rahul Gandhi for his remark that the "Opposition leaders` microphones are often switched off in Parliament" saying that it is Rahul Gandhi who speaks the most in Parliament.

"Be it Rahul Gandhi or others, they keep abusing the government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi from dawn to dusk. The one who speaks the most says that they are not allowed to speak," said Rijiju to reporters.
